Dear Parents & Carers,
Welcome to St. Monica’s (Milton) Primary. Our staff team work together to create a positive atmosphere where your child can learn, grow and thrive. We are working in difficult circumstances due to Lockdown restrictions and our methods have had to change, however our aims remain the same
- We are preparing for your child to start school safely next session
- We are preparing to welcome your family into our school community
- We aim to share relevant information with you
- We aim to share activities for you and your child to enjoy together
- We aim to respond to any questions or queries you may have about school life
Our valuable work with our nursery partners started before the outbreak of COVID-19 with visits to our local nurseries and meetings with nursery staff about the children’s progress and wellbeing. Please be assured this work will continue during the Lockdown period and staff will continue to work together to share information relevant to your child and their learning journey.
I hope that you find the information in our “Starting School” section valuable – we will add it to it regularly. If you have a specific question you can contact Mrs McGinley on 0141 772-0026 on Friday afternoons from 1.00 – 2.30pm to discuss transition arrangements, school supports or any needs you feel your child has.
We look forward to working with you and your child at a safe distance for the time being and we hope to meet with you in the near future.
